Dr. Colwell said the gunman had elevated sodium level and white blood cell count (could be a sign of infection.) Urinalysis showed ketones, which can imply dehydration. Normal glucose level.

Defense calls Jason Morgan, a registered nurse who treated the gunman at the Colorado Mental Health Institute in July 2014.

Mendoza said the gunman had sleep apnea and stopped breathing for 10 seconds or more while he slept.
