Dr. Gur says the content of the notebook is more significant than whether the gunman wrote right to left, wrote on the lines, wrote in words and didn't scribble in the margins.
Dr. Gur: "His effort to describe it, to detail it... he provides the symbols that characterize his delusional thoughts... [including the] infinity symbol."
Dr. Gur on gunman's notebook: "To produce the content that has no relation to reality... and is rambling in nature... doesn't make it a normal verbal expression of thought processes. It describes a depth of an extensive delusion."
Dr. Gur: "He had to complete a mission. Once he said it, it had to be done, no matter what."
