by Tammy Garrison7/9/2015 4:21:28 PM
I've held back a lot of opines because of the potential explosions. It got so toxic in here like walking across a mine field.....and NO I don't have any creds to refer to mine fields. Is there a trial on?? Ah yes there is....
by Kristle7/9/2015 4:21:38 PM
lol @ the punctuation comment, he sure had a sarcastic tone
by JG7/9/2015 4:21:55 PM
A little bit of faked drama there
by Evan7/9/2015 4:21:56 PM
Thank you @BernerMom
by AM7/9/2015 4:21:58 PM
Oh geez, Kings interview of Dr. Gur sounds like a stage play with the words absolutely scripted.
by CindyL7/9/2015 4:22:05 PM
Wow King and Gur sound really angry!!
by Suzanne7/9/2015 4:22:07 PM
No need to get your panties in a bunch, King. You do this.
by Kels7/9/2015 4:22:36 PM
@ Tammy - I can't say but initials are JB. Anica said not to say it. : )
by Suzanne7/9/2015 4:23:09 PM
*did, I got excited, sorry.
by Kels7/9/2015 4:23:49 PM
@Suzanne - Hahaha. They do! Two angry people shouting for no reason lol.
by Angela Freeman7/9/2015 4:23:52 PM
Seriously King you are sounding like an idiot...not helping
by Dennie Carp7/9/2015 4:24:00 PM
Quote
King asks Dr. Gur whether she would risk her reputation with false testimony. "Absolutely not!" Gur says.
by anica.padilla7/9/2015 4:25:47 PM
So she hasn't even written a paper a month like she said earlier.
by Tammy Garrison7/9/2015 4:26:00 PM
understand the process of publication in peer reviewed journals, however her own writing skills after umpteen years in the U.S. are horrific
by mld7/9/2015 4:26:02 PM
King is allowing her to go on and on... Will limit re-cross so she can catch her plane
by Jbm7/9/2015 4:26:06 PM
Whoa, whoa, whoa, we going back to accreditations here?
by Kels7/9/2015 4:26:19 PM
I am great, do you not all know that?
by mom7/9/2015 4:26:21 PM
What she is saying has absolutely nothing to do with the question she was actually asked..
by TammyC7/9/2015 4:26:25 PM
Dr. did you write your report or co-wrote it to a certain percentage?
by Humble Pride7/9/2015 4:26:27 PM
Knowing that you are going to presenting your opinions in court does not negate the importance of taking notes. That is preposterous.
by 5W7/9/2015 4:26:35 PM
Suzanne, are you sure its not TR (Tom Riddle, i.e. Voldermort?) lol
by Tammy Garrison7/9/2015 4:26:39 PM
often..so very often I am left asking "what was the question.?"
by pass7/9/2015 4:26:48 PM
Gur says it's common practice in medicine to provide the "essence" of a patient's comments in reports, not verbatim notes.
by anica.padilla7/9/2015 4:30:16 PM
She did take notes...
by LawDog7/9/2015 4:30:20 PM
Can someone tell me what King? Does he want JH to get off.
by Suzanne7/9/2015 4:30:37 PM
@ pass, exactly! he just starts a question then lets Gur ramble.
by Suzanne7/9/2015 4:30:41 PM
No disrespect but Dr.Gur needs to pack up and go to the airport
by Tjq7/9/2015 4:30:44 PM
If what Dr. Gur just said about people with his mental disorder taking themselves off meds and with Holmes murderous capability with said mental disorder (even when medicated)... then he should never be allowed out of prison or a mental hospital. But since a doctor can be conned and let Holmes out one day... he really needs to be put on death row.
by CindyL7/9/2015 4:31:03 PM
Anica you are correct the youTube chat room people don't attack each other they back each other up when that happens... I've often wondered why it's different in here :(
by LG7/9/2015 4:31:08 PM
Ahhhh. Mr King. is using another trick: slowing his speech, lowering his voice, sounding soothing, to get Dr. Gur to slowdown and not interrupt and listen so that he won't have to tell her to take a cup of shut the h___ up and stop interrupting in front of the jury.
by DocJ7/9/2015 4:31:22 PM
@DocJ- I stand corrected, Gur is still swiveling. I find it rather creepy if she is mirroring JH
by Brandi7/9/2015 4:31:24 PM
"I did this, I did that, I did the other thing..." Dr. Gur's self-serving proclamations of her abilities are not helpful to the defense. She is clearly much more interested in her own credentials than providing clear and professional testimony on this case. Her repeated confabulation in favor of the defendant, no matter what, often makes her professional integrity look bad.
by flip7/9/2015 4:32:14 PM
Seriously King? We aren't asking for verbatum here; we're asking YOUR witness to provide the NECESSARY details in her report! Not a common practice? Who cares! You need to do your job correctly, Gurrrrr. If you're getting antsy on being attacked, it could have all been avoided had you provided what was more than likely necessary to render your opinion.
by Kels edited by anica.padilla7/9/2015 4:32:21 PM
she doesn't seem to understand the need for the prosecution or the defense to have the entire conversation rather than relying on her memory, which is selective at best
by mld7/9/2015 4:32:24 PM
We all can't be like Holmes and Gur and not take notes and dominate the academic world. Sorry.
by Kels7/9/2015 4:32:25 PM
King is channeling his inner Ricky Martin with that blown out looking shirt.
by Kristle7/9/2015 4:32:27 PM
I would think that if a patient says something relevant to his or her diagnosis, e.g., seeing shadows, the doc would make a record of it and pursue more info on it.
by MyraJ7/9/2015 4:32:30 PM
You were interviewing him for a life or death trial. Every question you asked was very important. You should have known that Dr.. This was not just for his medical file. You also knew that the PT would be given your reports and notes.
by mom7/9/2015 4:32:34 PM
More often than not, she has not been answering the questions that were asked.
by Angela Freeman7/9/2015 4:32:38 PM
DA needs!!!! to ask the Dr how Holmes decided with reason not to shoot the guy who smiled at him because it was too personal during the shooting if he was on auto pilot!! Someone call him during lunch ;)
by qwik draw7/9/2015 4:32:50 PM
The court-appointed interviewer testified that the very reason he videotaped the interviews was so that he did not mis-remember something....
by Kevin7/9/2015 4:32:55 PM
She put the minimal in her notes because she knows the PT gets them..
