Aurora movie theater shooting day 47: Defense to show video of James Holmes in custody

Day 47 in the Aurora movie theater shooting trial – People vs. James Eagan Holmes. Today, the defense plans to show video of Holmes in custody. During the course of the trial, prosecutors will argue that Holmes, the admitted gunman, was sane when he went into the midnight premiere of the Dark Knight Rises in an Aurora, Colorado, movie theater and opened fire on the audience, killing 12 and wounding 70. Thanks, Everyone, for date correction.. In that case, interesting that in the event of sentencing, DT will not be able to provide witnesses 7/20 - 7/31. All of this occurring around anniversary date has to be especially difficult for survivors, responders . . .

Clancy...... I carry a .40. Who knows... I know that police say getting shot at with a weapon can push you back even with a vest on. Tear gas etc. who knows.

So...the Defendant can be found Guilty, Not Guilty or Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity...now you all know why I said the PT had to somewhat tediously prove every element of every offense...otherwise JH could be found straight up Not Guilty for failure of proofs!

It's been a pleasure listening with all of you at D7 and sitting through the trial with all the bloggers. There are so many with a vested interest in this case from all point of view. We bloggers have had the benefit of more information presented to our ears than the jury. My hope is that the jury is able to come to a conclusion that is just and with accordance to the evidence presented to them.

I'm confused. Can Holmes be found NOT GUILTY? I didn't even think that option was on the table. If he's found NOT GUILTY, he walks?
