I think King is done...he ran out of that courtroom so fast on Thursday, it was almost disturbing.
by Marsha Laurienti7/23/2015 8:19:09 PM
Pryce says she never had any negative encounters with the gunman.
by anica.padilla7/23/2015 8:19:45 PM
"Focus was on the girls....came across Holmes only in passing...." Huh?!
by Kels7/23/2015 8:20:31 PM
@Loz does that mean you would kick her out of the Rebel alliance?
by NT87/23/2015 8:20:33 PM
You guys are acting like children with the comments, this woman isn't on trial. A lot of people get dry mouth when they are nervous.
by Despicable Me7/23/2015 8:20:39 PM
waste of time here
by happy7/23/2015 8:20:41 PM
Her saliva is making a horrible sound
by Ursomonie7/23/2015 8:20:44 PM
That's sad she has to undergo the stress of being on the stand and it's her daughters birthday.
by Kristle7/23/2015 8:20:45 PM
@Despicable Me: What does what mean? That the prosecution argument was weak? Compared to the defense, it was.
by mdesignz7/23/2015 8:20:49 PM
thought the judge ruled that these witnesses had to have direct contact with JH
by mandi7/23/2015 8:20:53 PM
Isn't he technically Spengler's client?
by Tammy Garrison7/23/2015 8:20:54 PM
My teenage boys don't come it to listen to ladies chit chat...I may to watch out for any gun and ammunition purchases.
by Marsha Laurienti7/23/2015 8:21:29 PM
Seemed like a witness for the parents
by Ursomonie7/23/2015 8:21:31 PM
WOW, she had quite the impact, zzzzzz
by Resa7/23/2015 8:21:33 PM
LOL we're acting like children now. i'd rather be a child than a mobster though.
by blue7/23/2015 8:21:34 PM
Defense calls Suszanne Diaz, who worked at Castroville Elementary School.
by anica.padilla7/23/2015 8:21:51 PM
if i was on the jury i would of definitely had a question lol
by Tara7/23/2015 8:22:12 PM
no, I would offer her some blue milk, thank ya very much! :)
by Loz7/23/2015 8:22:14 PM
Agree she's pointless. All she said was he's in his bedroom upstairs. Geez!
by Kristle7/23/2015 8:22:18 PM
I wonder if these witnesses will catch any flak from their friends for assisting the defense with this guy.
by mdesignz7/23/2015 8:23:04 PM
Sure am glad we plan to cover all the races, That evil AC might try to turn it into a race crime.
by NT87/23/2015 8:23:32 PM
i would just like to say that keeping to yourself isn't always a sign of mental illness. especially in elementary school. come on, dt.
by blue7/23/2015 8:23:34 PM
I feel for ALL of the witnesses in this trial....so stressful..no one ever wants to be in dragged in on a death penalty trial....let alone have to testify...knowing how harshly they will be judged...
by A.L. 7/23/2015 8:24:03 PM
agree, Kristie. I imagine their star mitigation witness will be Arlene Holmes.
by flip7/23/2015 8:24:05 PM
I feel like any of the teacher/school employees that are brought up to the stand are shills. The secretaries at my kids elementary school loved them to no end, but there is no way they would remember them now. I call Shenanigans!
by DocJ7/23/2015 8:24:32 PM
I do not think she is necessarily pointless. Just gives a quick snapshot that since he was younger he was somewhat antisocial. However, speaking as someone with an older brother, it is not extremely unusual behavior.
by LjM7/23/2015 8:24:55 PM
This is stage 2, correct?
by imnotreallyhere7/23/2015 8:24:57 PM
by LG7/23/2015 8:24:58 PM
That was strange the way she answered if she recognized him
by caz7/23/2015 8:25:00 PM
she's a school attendant for pity's sake -- HIggs trying to make it into an laudy position
by mandi7/23/2015 8:25:05 PM
Yes flip. Hope they put her on today. Goober.
by Kristle7/23/2015 8:25:09 PM
what is AC, sorry
by sd7/23/2015 8:25:10 PM
@blue, agree and a teenage boy who stays in his room!
by Michelle Schack7/23/2015 8:25:17 PM
She remembers a first grader 20 years ago?!? Gotta call BS on that one. Prosecution should ask: Name one other student in the same class.
by mdesignz7/23/2015 8:25:22 PM
goooooood point @mdesignz "name just one"
by Loz7/23/2015 8:28:10 PM
omg - class photos from 20 years ago!
by mandi7/23/2015 8:28:20 PM
People in the office only see these kids on a random basis. Normally when they are sick or in trouble. Again this is a waste of time.
by happy7/23/2015 8:28:32 PM
@DocJ that's exactly what teacher friends have said - hard pressed to remember a kid 15-20 years later!
by Edy7/23/2015 8:28:34 PM
@sd, AC is Anderson Cooper which is who George Braucler looks like from our angle most of the time :)
by Loz7/23/2015 8:28:36 PM
@DocJ my mother was a secretary at a High School and she can tell you names of several of the students at the school she was at for 27 years... some just have more interaction then others do depending on their job duties...
by LG7/23/2015 8:28:38 PM
How much is she being paid by the DT? There is no way she remembers him from 1994.. and the way she answered YESSSSSSSS to if you recognize him..
by polisalwaysright7/23/2015 8:28:43 PM
I wonder if these people volunteered to testify or are they there because they were subpoenaed to be there? How could they think to call this woman?
by Ann7/23/2015 8:28:45 PM
I realize this is part of the defenses job, but the fact that the little girl he killed will never make it to 5th grade makes this all irrelevant.
by AM7/23/2015 8:28:49 PM
@mdesignz i feel the same way about the 5th grade teacher. from what i understand he always kept to himself and didn't participate. how could that have made an impression that caused them to remember every detail for 15+ years. i'm with @docj- SHENANIGANS!
