Gunman: "Can you be more specific?"
Gunman: "I'm kind of shy... I don't like to talk a lot."
Gunman said he spoke with his family about a trip they made to IKEA in California.
Dr. Reid: "Do you remember the day you were arrested?"
Dr. Reid: "When?"
Gunman: "July 20, 2012."
Jurors report having difficulty hearing/understanding the audio.

The gunman said his parents write to him once a week, but did not visit him in jail until 8 months after his arrest.
The gunman said it was "real good" to see his parents. Doesn't remember specifically what they talked about.
The gunman was never alone with his parents - a defense team lawyer was present.
Dr. Reid on seeing his mother: "Did you get a tear in your eye?"
Dr. Reid: "Do you ever get tears in your eyes?"
Dr. Reid: "What brings tears to your eyes sometimes?"
Gunman: "Ah, just regrets."
Dr. Reid: "Can you tell me a little more?"
Gunman: "Usually it's before I go to sleep."
Dr. Reid: "Regrets about?"
Gunman: "About the shooting."
