Tony Evans, owner of CannonFuse.com, confirms the order included "timing fuses" that burn for a set amount of time before igniting a device.

Tony Evans: A very entry-level method of setting off fireworks... uses a small battery-powered transmitter. Needs line of sight, only works about 25-30 feet from device. About the size of a pack of cigarettes.
