The gunman told Fenton he was addicted to Diablo 3 and had played 100 hours in the past 2 weeks.

Marti--gotta say, with all due respect, your hindsight is 20/20.

The gunman told Fenton he was reading about the Unabomber and the Tylenol Terrorist. Fenton said that concerned her.

I personally think people should give Fenton a break. Hind sight is always 20-20 and it's not like he told her of his plans and what he was up to. You can't lock up everyone who shows signs of mental illness.

I agree. Not her fault. Not anyone else's fault.

Right NH...the law states they person has to show an imminent threat to themselves or others...imminent being the key word...

When something happens that people don't understand, they always look for someone to put blame on.

I agree hindsight is 20/20. It is rather easy to see JH thoughts through his statements now, after we have been exposed to all his thoughts.

I kinda feel bad for Fenton.

Tamara Brady's shaky voice is hard to listen to. Borderline irritating.

The Law has since changed so they can commit people easier. Under the new law she could have committed him.

She did her Job but I am surprised that she did not ask more questions.

Problem is the anti-gun and pro- gun crowd seem to both agree that unless the wackos in society are flagged by their healthcare professionals as a risk to themselves or others, there is *nothing* preventing this from happening again. Not that JH couldn't have probably bought a gun anywhere - but he should have been flagged as ineligible to purchase firearms. The shrinks, the social workers and everyone involved in that capacity - epic fail.

NT8--You are studying James Holmes. Does that meet the specs for needing incarceration? Should the bookstores that sell those books Holmes was reading be closed down?

@NH giver her break?! She has had one for over two years....
