Aurora movie theater shooting trial day 35: Survivor Ashley Moser to testify

Prosecutors have said they will call survivor Ashley Moser to testify on day 35 of the theater shooting trial - People vs. James Eagan Holmes. During the course of the trial, prosecutors will argue that Holmes, the admitted gunman, was sane when he went into the midnight premiere of the Dark Knight Rises in an Aurora, Colo., movie theater and opened fire on the audience, killing 12 and wounding 70. JH is no normal person. He planned, plotted, and carried out this mass shooting. So even if he weren't medicaid I don't think he'd react much.

Why do so many people think JH is heavily medicated? The doctors have repeatedly said he is not. His behavior in the courtroom is just who he is. A cold killer.

To the point that the defendant doesnt appear to react to emotional testimony because he is 'heavily medicated', i attended a trial everyday for a defendant who repeatedly stabbed and shot a brother and and sister in a domestic violence situation and at no time did this defendant show emotion..during autopsy photos, during testimony about him dragging the bodies to burn piles..during family testimony. Nothing..and he was not medicated. They just dont care period or they would not have committed the crimes in the first place.

I always feel so sorry for the victims when they testify and there are bench conferences and the victim has to sit there across from the person that caused their trauma.

In the opening statements the defense explained his lack of reaction and said it was based on him being heavily medicated. Still doesn't excuse anything he did or does, but just answering a question.

Ephasia is so hard to deal with. You look fine, but can't always get the words out so people think you are being purposely stupid or ignoring them. I have had it since my stroke in 1995. It is one of the most frustrating things ever. She did really well, as mine gets worse when I am emotional.

Aphasia = loss of language skills. My husband has specifically word finding difficulties since the removal of his brain tumor. I'm a speech path/pastor.
