Objection to how long she knew him overruled
Lasamoa Cross said they didn't order tickets until the day of the shooting. Her boyfriend, AJ Boik, didn't get the ticket confirmation email but took his bank statements to prove the purchase.
"We were not stopping," Cross said.
Lasamoa Cross: "We sat in the row that had the rails so we could put our feet up without bothering anyone."
Lasamoa Cross and AJ Boik changed seats to let 2 other friends sit with them.
Brooke Cowden, Jacqueline Fry and Lasamoa Cross all said they changed seats shortly before the movie. All 3 survived but lost loved ones.
Lasamoa Cross: "I didn't see an empty seat in the house."
Prosecutor: "Were you excited?"
Cross: "Oh, big time."
Lasamoa Cross: "To the right of the theater, the door flew open and there was a man standing there."
Lasamoa Cross: "I could just see a silhouette but it seemed like he was wearing tactical gear."
Lasamoa Cross: "I saw a motion like he was pulling a clip or a key out of something and he did an underhand toss toward me."
