Witness Kaylan Bailey was dismissed after her 911 call was played.
Witness Kaylan Bailey sounds hysterical in her 911 call. Dispatcher directed her to open her cousin's airway, check if he is breathing. "You need to start CPR... I'm going to walk you through the steps," the dispatcher said.
Witness Kaylan Bailey on Ashley Moser: "I knew that she was paralyzed and she had a miscarriage."
Witness Kaylan Bailey said one of the Century 16 managers came and sat with her, and made her look away from the scene.
Witness Kaylan Bailey: "I remember stepping over a body and stepping over multiple pools of blood."
Witness Kaylan Bailey said she called 911 and the dispatcher told her to perform CPR on Veronica, but she couldn't because Ashley had collapsed on top of Veronica.
Witness Kaylan Bailey said Ashley was yelling for Veronica and she told her Veronica was okay. Bailey said she had her hand on Veronica's stomach and she was breathing. She removed her hand for a minute, and when she put it back, she couldn't feel Veronica breathing.
Witness Kaylan Bailey: "Ashley popped her head up one time and she jolted, she fell back down."
Witness Kaylan Bailey: "The movie was still playing and people were screaming."
Witness Kaylan Bailey: "I saw Jameson touch his head, and there was blood trickling down."
Witness Kaylan Bailey: "It seemed like instantly after the gunshots that Ashley jumped on Veronica on the floor."
Witness Kaylan Bailey: "What I thought was originally a prank, this rocket shot from the right side of theater to the left."
Witness Kaylan Bailey said they sat in the third or fourth row in the stadium seating section of Theater 9.

Prosecution calls next witness: Kaylan Bailey, 16. She was 13 at the time of the shooting.
APD Sergeant Michael Hawkins steps down from the stand.
APD Sergeant Michael Hawkins said the inside of his patrol car was stained with "a lot of blood."
APD Sergeant Michael Hawkins said he got on one of the buses that arrived at Gateway H.S., where he had contact with an African American man in his late 60s who didn't have a shirt on." The man said he had to use it as a bandage. That man was Mike White, Sr. He had used the shirt to bandage his son, Michael White.
APD Sergeant Michael Hawkins ultimately went to Gateway High School: "I assisted in just kind of maintaining order with the people who had been at the theater that night."
APD Sergeant Michael Hawkins said as he tried to help the man with shrapnel in his face, "Another police officer said 'I've got him.' and I realized it was an officer from Broomfield." That was when Hawkins became aware other police departments had responded to the shooting.
APD Sergeant Michael Hawkins on people left in the theater: "Some of them were verbally and physically upset and there were some that were calmly walking out or calmly staying seated."
APD Sergeant Michael Hawkins: "A man asked me to help him help his wife... his face was covered in blood. As I looked closer I could see bright pieces of metal sticking out of his face."
