I've come to believe Dr. Reid's diagnosis of schizotypal personality disorder. There has been too much evidence that something was 'off' about Jimmy all along. That would also explain why the parents didn't react to Dr. Fenton's call like most of us would have. They were used to his odd behavior.

@hey, gotcha. As a human it would be difficult not to have empathy despite JH's inability to do the same. I'm not sure I fully understand why the parent's are testifying? We don't have DP in my state so this is all new to me.

Is ANYONE going to testify to JH sinking into severe mental illness? Other than the psychiatrist yesterday,and he never saw JH before the event. And that testimony was very oddly placed- it will surely be rather lost. Does the jury get to assume that if nobody does that there was no evidence of it? And perhaps the intense anxiety that he demonstrated to the doctors and social work at U of Colorado was because for some reason he had decided to commit this awful thing?
