Day 62 in the Aurora movie theater shooting trial – People vs. James Eagan Holmes. Today, prosecutors will call approximately nine more family members of the victims who were killed.

@Phil consider those who see things differently. Process means little when jury selection. Process is driven by the beliefs of those closely allied with popular opinions, not necessarily the more difficult education for advancing a society. Yes, the defense did have a part, but as saw, it was notably struggling, not so much with the evidence, but how it was presented. You can't ask for a fair trial, if all who would not consider dp were uninvited to participate. It's the same as saying a trial against a slave must only have slaveholders as the jury. What ya think? Pretty much the same---nothing different in CO. Same thing happened throughout CO history. Nice little loopholes! JH is a severely sick individual, but the dp harbors those who think dp is fine, as long as they can think the trial was fair.

A just punishment would be LWOP and with out computers or TV. Let him stay in a cell with out any contact with anything, Same routine everyday, do not even let him have a calendar.

This would be easier for me if JH looked remorseful or cried or looked ashamed. I can't stand it that he looks smug, proud and clearly enjoying to hear about the value of those he killed. I'm glad I'm not in the court room or you would all see me being dragged in later for my contempt hearing!

These witnesses are doing a phenomenal job with an excruciating and unbearable task. Makes me want to be a better human, too. Many have said that on this thread. 'Bet you didn't bet on THAT stream of positive energy from a collective, enormous source, "Jimmy". Hate loses. Love wins. ALWAYS!

@Tired...right there with you on the anger. That is when I am not crying so hard I can't see the screen. These people and what he has put them thru. my God. He needs to PAY. I get really ANGRY knowing when we do get to kill him it won't even hurt!!! SO NOT RIGHT!!!! I vote we let the inmates visit with him for a few days,,,you know the welcoming committee!!

Do these attorneys think these objections are going to change the minds of the jurors? Do they think because a couple questions weren't answered, that would change or sway the jury? They really are obtuse.

@SJW-- this guy wouldnt last a night in general population. Hes an easy target for eveything that happens in prison. Hes a wimp, loser and feable. He would be eaten up in a matter of hours. He doesnt like anything being personal so he prbably wouldnt like being the "female" in a prison wedding.

simpleton, first of all, Phil is a reporter, so he is unbiased and focused on reporting the facts. He doesn't share his personal opinion. That would be inappropriate and unethical for his profession. Secondly, what you offer JH is exactly what he has stated is wants and why he did the shooting in the first place. Why should he be rewarded for this horrible act.

@Tia, when I leave the quality of the settings to "auto" I don't get as many interruptions with buffering, when I click the quality to HD, the buffering is nonstop. might help your computer
