@Phil - Does the statement of allocution affect any of the possible outcomes of this trial? Meaning, the decision still, essentially, comes down to LWOP or DP right? That doesn't change?

@aly I believe he is only required to stand when The Judge asks him to when he is telling him what the jury comes back with .... if he was required to do so now he would be this Judge wouldn't allow him to be disrespectful in anyway

In my heart, I believe that JH DID mislead his defense team, the doctors and everyone else he had contact with. As a medical professional, I know that it can be done and this man is intelligent enough to have done so and narcissistic enough to be willing to throw his life away with his actions.

@Kristie--I think Edwards is a very reasonable guy, not a trial lawyer like the rest of them, but a very smart instructions specialist and he makes a heck of a lot more sense than anyone on the DT when discussing the jury instructions.

I thought there was going to be Victim Impact Statements, not just testimony. The prepared statements where the victims get to talk directly to JH.
