Theater shooting trial day 14: Expect CSI evidence testimony to resume

We expect the fourth week of the Aurora movie theater shooting trial to resume with Aurora Police Department Crime Scene Investigator Maria Pettolina, whose testimony was interrupted Thursday afternoon after she presented seat-by-seat ballistic impact evidence from the theater.

Oh BTW While looking up Judge Samour, Did you all know he graduated from Colombine High school? Anybody else wonder if the DT tried to get him removed? Hate to bring up old wounds for you all.

@Suzanne: They tried to have a change of venue, is I think what you mean. That was denied. This is the second judge, but only because the previous judge stepped down.

Here is a portion of an article, dated November 14, 2014 about the DT wanting to replace Judge Samour. "Defense attorneys in the Colorado theater shooting case have asked for a new judge, saying the current one is hostile and biased against them. Judge Carlos A. Samour Jr. denied the request Friday in a scathing order that highlights the tension between him and James Holmes’ attorneys as the trial nears."
