Totally rude to correct witness to say yes instead of yah.....he's foreign and they use yah to mean yes. My Dad always said yah.....witness is not saying yeah....

@Valm46 I'm not sure why she cares "yeah" vs. "yes" other than she's trying to do that whole controlling of the conversation thing. And again, the questions from the DT that are riding the line between asking a question and making it more of a statement, drive me up the wall. It feels unclear at times.

I think Higgs really hurt the DT, as she seemed incapable of phrasing questions for something she has no desire to really understand anyway. She seemed like she was up there to talk for the sake of talking, not proving anything.

I don't think Higgs was being rude, every attorney will tell/ask a witness to answer "yes or no" it's so that the CR can get the answers recorded correctly.

Regarding the whole "yes" "yeah" "ja" thing...she first corrected him when he said "mmm hmm" which was not a "yes" or a "yeah."

While I normally disagree with the DT (no surprise!) I actually agree with this 403 objection. We get it. He didn't change. No one the PT is calling is going to say otherwise. It begins to be redundant.
