Realized people weren't getting out of the way fast enough, so he pushed her down to get cover
Ghawi was telling him to call 911
Lowak says she was laying on her stomach, he was in a crawling position.
"i started to feel the spray of popcorn and soda all around"

He saw her leg was shot, he used EMT training to try to apply pressure to leg wound, while shots continued
He was wounded, left buttocks, when he tried to get to his phone
Lowak: says first shots separated by pauses
Lowak "as soon as i saw that jessie had been shot, my focus transitioned to taking care of her"

Lowak: remembers thinking that if the shooter came back he could jump over a wall to exit.
Lowak: Heard soemone scream for help, he hollered they should put pressure on it and help is coming
Lowak: Not very long after, he saw personnel in uniform arrive. They found him,
Lowak: 2 officers helped to carry him out of the theater, down and out right front emergency exit
Lowak remembered seeing bullet casings, banana clips, assault rifle on the way out
