@FMM There has only been two students in his classes who testified that barely interacted w/ him. No other friends or family.

I was going to ask why the prosecutor was walking in the courtroom during a very important part of the video, hence, taking the jurors attention off of the video. He just admitted how important it was for him to become a murderer!

@Kristle - I don't think so. He was also severely mentally ill, but he understood right from wrong. He just had a difficult time feeling emotions. In his case I think he just learned early on that violence would make people obey. And if they don't obey, he can make them go away.

Yes, NT8, I believe they are the one in the same...the girlfriend started dating a guy who dyed his hair red....I vaguely remember a witness/prior classmate who mentioned a "Ben" dyed his hair red before JH did.

@Angela: Was just wondering because he never took an insanity defense and I've always wondered if maybe he was. Read the book and watched his interviews but I guess it would take a Dr. Reid type analysis. Agree the only people he ever loved was his wife and kids.

@Kristle - He was a fascinating case to learn about for sure! I think he would have had more of a case for insanity than JH if he had tried. The field of psychology is progressing quickly these days, though. It's possible at the time they didn't think there was a chance to succeed at that.
