Theater shooting trial day 38: Dr. Woodcock to return to the stand, jail video likely to be shown

Dr. Jonathan Woodcock, the defense's expert, is going to return to the stand for the remainder of his cross-examination Friday. James Holmes' attorneys are also likely to screen for the jury another jail video showing the gunman in November of 2012, around the time that they say his mental health condition became aggravated in the jail.

Maybe JH is prone to hyperbole. There are times when I say that I hate everyone, too. I don't really, of course, and I don't think that JH has shown that he truly hates *everyone*, either.

King's questions now focus on the omissions or unclear items Brauchler brought up -- like the family history's citations -- an Woodcock saying that it is fairly standard procedure and would not have been reasonable able to include all citations to what he reviewed in his report

King should not have used the word "substandard" in his question.....Dr. Woodcock's expertise does indeed look substandard at this point.

Google the definition of legal insanity. It is severe mental illness. There are lots of kinds of mental illnesses. This has been talked about sufficiently, yet there is no proof that he was not insane during the killing.

Brauchler's style is extremely aggressive, and perhaps rightly so, but he can come off as rude, arrogant and condescending at times. Some feel it's fair-play, but others, like myself, think he risks turning off certain jurors. It's definitely a fine line to walk.
