Brady also bringing up her other mitigating factors, his age and lack of previous convictions
"Out of the blue the mental illness struck and all of a sudden he had red hair"
She says the jurors were selected because they said the size of the case wouldn't automatically lead to the death penalty and becasuse they pledged to consider mitigation
Brady says the law asks and she asks the jury not to make emotional decision
"This will be the most important decision you may ever make in your life and it needs to be one you can live with"
"You have the opportunity right now to give accountability with mercy, compassion with understanding and resolution with no more death. For the death penalty does not bring anyone back. it doesn't make anyone feel better. It just adds to the death count"
