James Holmes will learn his punishment for 141 other crimes tied to this case in a hearing that begins Monday; these crimes include the charges for explosives planted in his apartment.Victims, families and the gunman will have another chance to address the court, similar to the other sentencing phase. I live in Arvada, but had to pick up one of my sons from work on the day the trial ended, I had to take I-225 to get there. I have not been in that neck of the woods in many, many years. As I'm driving down, right before I hit Mississippi, I looked over and there was the theater. So eerie. As I'm driving, I start seeing the hospitals that he sent those poor people to that night. Just a very surreal feeling driving that stretch that evening. Said a little prayer and got a bit choked up for the victims.
