Prosecution calls Kaitlyn Fonzi, who lived in the same apartment building as the gunman.
Neighbor Kaitlyn Fonzi said the landlord described the apartment as "a place for faculty, staff and students of CU."
Witness Kaitlyn Fonzi lived on the 2nd floor of the apartment complex at 1690 Paris Street, right below the gunman.
Neighbor Kaitlyn Fonzi went to bed around 11 p.m. on July 19, 2012. She said she slept in the living room near the AC unit because it was so hot. "Around midnight we were awoken by very loud music, the apartment was shaking."
Neighbor Kaitlyn Fonzi said the music lasted about an hour before she left her apartment to see where the music was coming from - and realized it was apartment #10.
Neighbor Kaitlyn Fonzi said she knocked on the door to apartment 10.
"I thought about opening the door, I had my hand on the knob, but it was unlocked... I had a bad gut feeling I didn't want to see what was behind the door."
Neighbor Kaitlyn Fonzi said she initially called police to file a noise complaint.

Neighbor Kaitlyn Fonzi said the music continued to play, so she called police again about 30-45 minutes later.
