Prosecution calls Caitlin Peddicord, friend of victim Alex Teves.
Caitlin Peddicord says they sat halfway to 3/4s of the way up the theater, in the middle.
Caitlin Peddicord: "There was a canister that went from bottom house right to the left, over the seats."
Caitlin Peddicord: "I remember people snickering, thinking it was a stink bomb."
Caitlin Peddicord: "I was knocked to the ground by another person, landing on my hands and knees." Said she didn't know who shoved her, possibly her friend Craig.
Caitlin Peddicord: "I flattened myself as flat as I could to the ground."
Caitlin Peddicord: "I heard a very loud crack which sound almost like a seat had exploded... and then I heard Amanda scream Alex's name."
Caitlin Peddicord: "I counted slowly to 5 Mississippi to give myself the realization time had passed."
Caitlin Peddicord: "I wasn't feeling much of anything physically at that point." In the days after she discovered bruises and scratches on her legs and knees.
Caitlin Peddicord says after she got outside she realized she wasn't with her group, but she ran out and ducked behind a car.
Caitlin Peddicord on asking her friend Craig about Alex: "I asked him where Alex was and he shook his head... shook his head 'no' and looked down."
Caitlin Peddicord says her friend Amanda wasn't talking much, was shaking, then called her mother and broke down crying.
